Bookmark and Share Hello,
It gives us immense pleasure to announce the release of softSCJD: Guide to Sun Certified Java Developer. The product has been designed to assist Sun Certified Java Programmers to get the feel of NEW SCJD assignment.

Note: The product assumes that the user of the product is atleast Sun Certified Java Programmer.

softSCJD: product features
--Short tutorial on important swing components. The tutorial aims at making users familiar with the usage of important swing components. Code examples have been provided to assist better understanding.
--Sample application requirement - Hotel Reservation Application. The application requirement has been kept similar to the new SCJD assignment in terms of the overall design of the application. The sample application has been kept different enough to ensure code can't be reused as it is in the new SCJD assignment but the design can be reused.
--Short tutorial on creating and using binary files. The tutorial is more focused on how to write the binary file for the sample application. It is not an introduction to File I/O.
--Javadocs has been provided for the sample application as well as examples used in softSCJD.
--The sample application design has been presented in HTML format with hyperlinks to the files under discussion. This approach is better compared to providing application design in a text file.
--The sample application design document covers the following topics:
--Assumptions made in designing of the sample application
--Justifications on using RMI over sockets
--Server design and implementation
--Client design and implementation
--Data client design and implementation
--Packaging and running the server and client applications
--Exception handling in the sample application
--Search Mechanism in the sample application
--Record locking mechanism
--Implementation details of design patterns used in the sample application
--Alternatives that we considered during designing of client, server and data client
--Justification for going ahead with a particular design pattern or design
--README.TXT file has been provided for the sample application which documents how to run the client and server applications. It also documents how to run the sample program, which creates binary files.
--Userdoc.txt file has been provided for the sample applicaton, which documents how to use the sample application.
--FREE technical support. The technical support will be limited to helping users to understand the sample application, its design and implementation.

The product is priced at 75 US$. For the first 20 customers we have special promotional price of 65 US$

If you have any further questions or concerns on the softSCJD product please contact our technical support team through techsupport@softlearn-systems.com . We would request you to ask questions because there is no Trial version of softSCJD.
