webbase - easy made web apps

JavaFAQ Home » JSP, Servlets Go to all tips in JSP, Servlets

Bookmark and Share The newest version of webbase gives developers a small and simple tool for programming web apps with Java. The framework consists of two parts: an integrated webserver for running web apps 'stand-alone' - no Tomcat is needed but can be used - and a GUI library with slightly more than 50 classes. The syntax of webbase is quite similar to Java Swing, so any Java-developer can write web apps in the same way as writing desktop-applications.
webbase offers features like treeView, file-upload and generated bitmaps. A webbase application can be run from any java application upgrading it with a web-interface.
webbase is free for non-commercial use. The download of a demo version can be found on the website of the maunfacturer: http://www.nextwebstep.com
